Ukrainian Agribusiness Club
The Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB) ) was founded in 2007 and has many years of experience in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. The activities of UCAB contribute to the effectiveness of business in the agricultural sector of Ukraine and cover almost all its processes; from attracting investments to global tasks of increasing the efficiency of agricultural companies, developing proposals for improving agrarian policy, and capacity building in agriculture production.
Among many others, a successful area of UCAB’s activities includes organization of specialized events and the provision of a platform for effective professional communication of both members of the association and the general public involved in the agrarian business of Ukraine.
Role in the project
UCAB serves as the Leader of Task 6.2 of WP6 – Co-creation, testing, scaling-up and evaluation of project’s innovations.
UCAB is also responsible for Case study 1 – Grain: UCAB with other Ukrainian partners will be participate to define the details of the case study and will share their information, knowledge and expertise with other partners. The case study will serve as a knowledge exchange hub between end-users and technology providers, allowing for the co-development, customization, testing and validation of the SecureFood solutions (frameworks, models and tools) to the specifics of grain value chain. A dedicated week will serve as the official demonstration and evaluation where all defined realistic scenarios will be executed by all partners and demonstrated to external stakeholders.
